Mental Health America offers online, confidential screening tools for addiction and other mental health concerns. If a person screens positive, it does not mean they have the diagnosis; it means  they should follow up with a physician or mental health provider for further evaluation. The Oklahoma Network of Care is provided by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. This Web site is a resource for individuals, families, and agencies concerned with mental health and substance abuse. Regardless of where you begin your search, the Network of Care helps ensure that there is "No Wrong Door" for those who need services.

Palmer

Palmer offers outpatient substance abuse programs for adults and adolescents. Palmer also offers a woman’s residential treatment program (children 12 & under are able to stay with their mother). All programs are at no cost to the participant.

Al-Anon (for friends or family of alcoholics)

Al‑Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.

Naloxone-Opioid Overdose Treatment

Naloxone is a medication used to reverse the effects of opioid overdose. Specifically, naloxone allows an individual experiencing an overdose to breathe normally until EMSA can respond.

You should consider having Naloxone if you or someone you care about:

• Uses alcohol, benzodiazepines, or muscle relaxers with opioids
• Has liver, kidney, or breathing problems
• Uses illicit opioids such as heroin or fentanyl
• Concerned that someone close to you may overdose
