As a Child Development and Education major, you must attend the Child Development and Education Smart Start before enrolling next semester. All students can, even if you are exploring the education field.
Fall 2024 Session
If you wish to pursue one of our Child Development Programs you are required to attend the Child Development & Education Smart Start before enrolling in the next semester. If you can't attend our in-person session, a self-paced, online version will be available later this fall.

- From My Success Network, click the triangle beside my name, then select Schedule Appointment
- Select the type of appointment, adjust the date range as needed to find days and times that work for your schedule, then select a time from the list.
- Complete your sign up by choosing your location (in-person, phone or virtual appointment) and add a description of why you want to meet
- Click confirm to finish scheduling the appointment
