The Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity features an Event Hall with an 18’ x 10’ HD screen, professional lighting and sound, and an adjacent holding kitchen. The 9th Street Observation Deck offers striking views of downtown Tulsa, and the Boston Avenue Terrace overlooks the Metro Building and offers another outdoor venue for students and the public. The Center for Creativity houses state-of-the-art high-definition television studios.
The facility is home to Oklahoma’s first “green” sustainable rooftop, with a collaborative lounge/learning space accessible to all Metro Campus students.
The Center for Creativity was designed by Selser Shaefer Architects. The Center garnered the firm the 2009 Honor Award from The American Institute of Architects, and the 2009 Innovator of the Year award from the Journal Record.
