Art Exhibitions at Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity

Please Touch the Art

Please Touch the Art Logo

Yes, you really can touch all the art in this exhibition!

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the opening reception of Please Touch the Art from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, where you’ll engage all five senses and dive into a world of tactile creativity. This unique exhibition, designed with a special focus on visitors and artists who are blind or visually impaired, invites everyone to discover art in a whole new way—no “Do Not Touch” signs here!

Join us for a night of fun as you meet the artists, enjoy tasty snacks, and get hands-on with interactive art activities sponsored by the Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges. Whether you’ve always wanted to touch a painting in a museum or are just curious to explore art through smell, sound, and taste, Please Touch the Art promises an experience you won’t want to miss!

Many thanks to our partners, the Tulsa Community College Foundation, the Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges, Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition, Oklahoma School for the Blind, and Jeri’s House.

If you can't make the reception, don't worry! You can come visit the exhibit during business hours. Please call or email before visiting for availability: 918-595-7339 or cindy.barton@tulsacc.edu.

Free parking in any TCC lot.
