    U.S. Representative Tom Cole is the Tulsa Community College Foundation 2016 Vision in Education Leadership Award recipient. He will receive the award at the TCC Vision in Education Leadership Award Dinner Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Cox Business Center in downtown Tulsa. A reception will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7 p.m. The 2016 Vision Honorary Chair is Stacy Schusterman and David Stratton serves as the Vision Dinner Chair.

    Dallas Elleman was awarded the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, worth up to $40,000 per year for up to three years to complete a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university. The TCC Foundation supports the mission and vision of the College by developing community relationships and financial support for student development and scholarships as well as critical capital and equipment needs. The TCC Foundation was founded in 1970.

    Please Touch the Art breaks the rules of traditional art exhibits and makes art accessible, especially for visitors who are visually impaired. Guests are encouraged to touch the art and explore the exhibit using a variety of senses. Please Touch the Art is June 3-July 30 in the Tulsa Community College Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity on the TCC Metro Campus.
